THE COVER

You have seconds to capture their attention

Before designing the outside, I strive to understand the inside. Designing a package isn’t as simple as it looks. In fact, a cover should look completely natural. As though it was created at the same moment in time that the product it encases was created. But of course, this isn’t the way things happen. The writing inevitably comes first and the cover follows. All cover designs start with an idea. This is translated into a 2D design, which is then adapted to a 3D structure. The goal: Give you the confidence to present your writing to the world.

THE INTERIOR

Focus on the reader and all else will follow

The three most important elements for interior design are: readability, readability, readability. Designing the interior of a book is a thankless job. The less the reader notices the better.  From choosing font styles and sizes, to margins, spacing, and paper color—these decisions allow for an enjoyable reading experience.
